Arrival at Munich and private transfer from Munich airport or main train station to your hotel.

Day 2: Munich – Hohenschwangau
After breakfast early start to Bavarian Castle Tour (private transfer all day), first stop at Linderhof, continue to famous town Oberammergau to Hohenschwangau, check-in at the hotel in Hohenschwangau / Füssen.

Day 3: Hohenschwangau – Munich – Salzburg
After breakfast enjoy an audio guided tours of the impressive Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure before returning to Munich in the late afternoon for (private transfer). travel by train to Salzburg
Arrive at your hotel for dinner. Night in Salzburg or the surrounding area.
Day 2: Salzburg +
After breakfast, a guided tour to discover Salzburg. The spirit of Mozart still haunts the alleyways of the old city, protected by an impressive fortress. See the Baroque cathedral, the «Rome of the Alps», the Residenz – a majestic building dating from the sixteenth century, Mozart Square and Market Square before reaching the «Getreidegasse», the famous street with many gilded shop signs, in which stands Mozart’s birthplace at No 9. The gardens of Mirabell Palace, on the other bank of the Salzach, will be your last stop in town before climbing by cable-car to the Fortress of Hohensalzburg. Mozart dinner concert at Stifstkeller St. Peter. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Salzburg – Hellbrunn – Hallein +
After breakfast, head to Hallein to visit the salt mines of Dürnberg, previously used by the Celts, that created the wealth of the archbishop princes of Salzburg. The attraction is great fun, as you ride on a miner’s cart and discover a reconstructed Celtic village to experience the daily life of this distant era. Enjoy a train-ride into the mine and cross an underground saltwater lake on a raft. Head to Hellbrunn Castle, south of Salzburg and a former archbishops resort. The gardens of this beautiful, Baroque castle are a unique spectacle, with many local water sources combining to create amazing water features: fountains and secret caves, animated, water-powered characters, water jets concealed in the vegetation. Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.
Day 4: Salzburg – Bad Ischl – St-Wolfgang / approx. 120 km +
Depart for the region of Salzkammergut and arrive in the small spa resort Bad Ischl, elevated to the status of imperial summer residence by Emperor Franz Joseph. Visit to the elegant imperial villa. Continue to St. Wolfgang, situated in a magnificent lakeside setting surrounded by mountains. Boat trip from St. Wolfgang to St. Gilgen. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5: Vienna Woods – Vienna / approx. 340 km +
Depart to Vienna Woods. Stop in Baden close to Vienna. Photo stop at the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz. Visit to the former hunting lodge of Mayerling. Continue on to Vienna. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner. Free evening or optional (with extra charge): Mozart concert at the Musikverein. Accommodation.
Day 6: Vienna / approx. 40 km +
Guided tour of the capital. Following the Ringstrasse, majestic buildings follow one after the other, embodying the splendors of the empire. Discover St. Stephen´s Cathedral. Visit to the Ceremonial Room of the National Library. Guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace and the Carriage Museum. Dinner at a “Heuriger”, a typical restaurant with a musical atmosphere, in the surroundings of Vienna. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 7: Vienna – Melk +
Depart for Melk. Visit to the magnificent Baroque abbey. Afterwards Departure.
