Day 2 Koh Samui (B)
Enjoy a Half Day Samui Island Tour.
This trip provides you with the perfect opportunity to get a true feel of the island as we will take you to discover the unspoiled beauty of Samui. We will first take you to some spectacular view points including the famous “Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks” (in Thai, Hin Ta & Hin Yai), which are impressive twin rocks on shore. Pass then through a coconut plantation to watch monkeys picking coconuts (you can even try fresh young coconuts which taste completely different from older ones).
Next will be a demonstration by local people of how to make coconut milk by hand: why not giving a try yourself? This presentation will be followed by a visit to a small temple (Wat Kunaram), housing the mummified relic of a monk who died in the lotus position. Before our last stop, we will head down to admire the beauty of Na Muang waterfall.
Finally, we will stop at Nathon, the island’s main town, where you can spend some time walking around shops and boutiques. On the way back to the hotel, we will have the chance to pass by the island’s most memorable landmark, the Big Buddha statue facing the surrounding bay. All Samui’s highlights covered in half a day!
