Day 1 Arrive Melbourne
Upon arrival in Melbourne, meet and transfer by bus to your choice of hotel.

Day 2 Melbourne (B)
A full day tour starts with Melbourne’s city landmarks including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Queen Victoria Market and the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens. Continue to Phillip Island and visit Warrook, a working cattle farm for the opportunity to feed and pat kangaroos, wallabies and encounter koalas in their natural habitat. See the Little Penguins up close as they return to their nests to greet their young families before returning to Melbourne.

Day 3 Melbourne (B)
Full day at leisure, optional tour to the Yarra Valley Wineries or the Great Ocean Road.

Day 4 Melbourne – Alice Springs (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Alice Springs. Visit the sights of ‘The Alice’, the Royal Flying Doctors Service and School of the Air to learn how children who live in the remote ‘outback’ are educated by radio. A stop the Alice Springs Reptile Centre to see up close some species of the lizards and snakes that frequent Central Australia’s semi-arid desert. Enjoy panoramic view of Alice Springs and the MacDonnell Ranges from the top of Anzac Hill.

Day 5 Alice Springs/Ayers Rock(B)
Depart Alice Springs and stop en route at the Camel Farm. Travel across the sandy desert plains towards the 36 majestic domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) to Walpa Gorge and explore the gorge and its unusual conglomerate rock formations. Arrive at the Uluru (Ayers Rock) sunset viewing area and witness the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset.

Day 6 Ayers Rock – Cairns (B)
Rise early this morning to watch the first rays of dawn set the Red Centre alight whilst enjoying a warm cup of tea, coffee and biscuits. An opportunity to climb Uluru or join your guide for a tour around the base of Uluru. Continue to the Mutitjulu Walk where you can view Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the native flora and history of the Aboriginal and European of Uluru area. At the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, see Aboriginal arts and crafts before returning to Ayers Rock Airport for flight to Cairns. Upon arrival in Cairns, shuttle bus transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 Cairns (B/L)
Spend a full day exploring one of earth’s most incredible “living” sites, the Great Barrier Reef – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll cruise to the Agincourt Reef today, at the edge of Australia’s Continental Shelf and e Explore the Great Barrier Reef from the underwater observatory or by snorkeling. A range of optional activities are available including dives for certified divers, guided snorkeling tours with a marine biologist.

Day 8 Cairns (B)
A scenic train ride to the picturesque village of Kuranda winding through 15 tunnels and past spectacular waterfalls. Wander through the village before go to the Rainforestation Nature Park for lunch whilst enjoy performance by Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance Troupe and the Dreamtime Walk including boomerang throwing, spear throwing and didgeridoo playing. Tour the rainforest in an amphibious Army Duck and visit the Tropical Fruit Orchard. Visit the Koala and Wildlife Park, feed kangaroos and view the awesome crocodiles. Ride a gondola on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway through the mist-shrouded canopy.

Day 9 Cairns – Sydney (B)
Shuttle bus transfer to the airport and fly to Sydney and transfer to hotel by shuttle.

Day 10 Sydney (B)
Full day tour of Sydney starts at the Manly Beach and on the way stop at Milsons Point for spectacular views of the Opera house and Harbour Bridge. A luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour is a fabulous way to unwind and relax, while getting a good look at some of this extraordinary landmarks sites from the water. Continues to the historic Rocks area and visit the Royal Botanic Gardens and then the Bondi Beach, home to the world-famous Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club.

Day 11 Sydney (B)
Enjoy a full day at leisure or you may wish to take an optional tour to the Blue Mountains.

Day 12 Sydney (B)
Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
