DAY 1 Maun, Botswana (D)
On arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be met by your Driver/Guide for a short transfer to your lodge.
In the early afternoon, we all meet for a short briefing detailing our journey. We depart on a sunset cruise on the Thamalakane River for a chance to soak in the magical setting and mingle with fellow travellers. While cruising through the delta speargrass and papyrus we enjoy sights of the hippo and crocodile and an abundance of bird life.

DAY 2 Okavango Pan Handle, Botswana (BB, D)
This morning we have the opportunity to view the Okavango Delta from an eagle’s perspective by going on a breath-taking one hour private charter flight (optional extra and own account). For the early birds amongst us wishing to keep our feet on the ground, we take the opportunity to walk through the town of Maun. After a sumptuous breakfast, we leave Maun and travel north-west along the panhandle of the Okavango Delta to our lodge for two nights alongside the river. Located along the western panhandle, our Lodge is famous for its prolific game population as well as birds and indigenous fish.

DAY 3 Okavango Pan Handle, Botswana (BB, D)
For the adventurous and ardent photographers amongst us, a traditional ‘mokoro’ day trip is a must (optional extra and own account). Lunch is included on the ‘mokoro’ excursion, as well as the transfers to and from ‘mokoro’ boating station. Guests not wishing to take the optional excursion enjoy a day at leisure, either around the pool, checking birds off on the viewing list or taking a guided walk along the banks of the river. In the late afternoon, we enjoy a sundowner cruise on the legendary Okavango River.

DAY 4 Caprivi Strip, Namibia (BB, D)
Today it is time to change countries! We cross the border between Botswana and Namibia and enter the Mahango National Park to enjoy a game drive in our touring vehicle. Rare species found here include bushbuck, reedbuck, lechwe, tsessebe, oribi and sitatunga. After this spectacular game viewing, we travel to Popa Falls where we will take a short walk to view the falls. After the rejuvenating walk, we enter the Caprivi Strip, which is bordered by Angola, Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe and surrounded by four mighty rivers. Structured on poles and overlooking the river, our Lodge even allows for a spot of fishing from your own deck. Dinner under the stars compliments and completes our day’s adventure.

DAY 5 Caprivi, Namibia (BB, D)
This morning we enjoy a game viewing on the private reserve as well as the neighboring national parks. After the light of day has announced itself, we take a relaxing break where drinks and traditional snacks are served. We take in an insightful tour of a traditional village adjacent to our Lodge, where most of the delightful camp staff calls home. We learn the secret of their fishing and hunting techniques as well as their day to day life in this exquisite area. A local Medicine man will also teach us how their dances are used to cure illnesses or other social problems. At sunset, an optional game viewing boat trip on the Kwando River gives us an opportunity to take in a different perspective of this beautiful area (own account).

DAY 6 & 7 Chobe, Botswana (BB, D)
Today we cross back in to Botswana via the Ngoma border post. In close proximity to Chobe National Park we have the opportunity to witness the amazing spectacle of the largest concentration of elephants in Africa only minutes away from our lodge. Enjoy unforgettable game drives in Chobe National Park and amazing sunsets while cruising on the Chobe River, both boasting the finest game viewing experiences in the region.

DAY 8 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (B)
After our timeless and memorable journey across three countries, guests may choose to continue their onward travel arrangements from Kasane or travel to Zimbabwe where we end off at your accommodation in Victoria Falls or Victoria Falls International Airport.
