Day 1 Chengdu
Arrive Chengdu, Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Chengdu/Leshan/Mt. Emei (B/L)
Drive to Leshan and visit the Giant Buddha – the world’s largest stone statue. Continue to Mt. Emei and visit some temples at the foot of this scenic Mountain.

Day 3 Mt. Emei/Chengdu (B/L)
Take a cable car up to the Golden Summit at Emei and see the magnificent temple in the midst of stunning landscape.
Returning to Chengdu in the afternoon.

• Sheraton Chengdu

Day 4 Chengdu (B/L/D)
Visit the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding during morning feeding hour. Tour the Sanxingdui Museum and spend some time at a local tea house before a Szechuan dinner.

Day 5 Chengdu/Dali (B/L)
Morning flight to Dali and visit the famous Three Pagodas upon arrival.
In the afternoon, visit Dali Old Town.

Day 6 Dali/Shaxi (B/L)
Today, visit the Xizhou and a cruise on the Erhai Lake. And visit he Bai Village of Zhoucheng.
Drive through rolling hills and pine forests as to Shaxi, a primeval town on the old-time tea-horse trade road and protected by the World Architecture Foundation as a world architectural heritage. Visit the local bazaar and Sidengjie.

Day 7 Shaxi/Lijiang (B/L)
Continue drive north to Lijiang basin with the backdrop of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Check into your hotel in the Dayan Old Town and rest of the day to explore Lijiang on your own.

Day 8 Lijiang (B/L)
Today visit to the Black Dragon Pool, Dongba Cultural Museum and the Old Town of Lijiang built along the line of mountains and the flow of rivers, a precious sample of old architecture. Enjoy a Dongba Music concert tonight.

Day 9 Lijiang (B/L)
Explore Xuhu Naxi and Baisha village to see the murals depicting the different forms of religious cultures and arts from Buddhism, Lamaism, Daoism and Naxi Dongba religion. Stop at Yufeng Temple, the ancient town of Shuhe where you will learn about the history of trade route – the Tea and Horse Road.

Day 10 Lijiang/Zhongdian (Shangri-La) (B/L)
Drive to Zhongdian or Shangri-La and stop en route at the First Bend of the Yangtze and the breathtaking Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the most dramatically beautiful sites in all of Asia.

Day 11 Zhongdian (Shangri-La) (B/L)
Visit a unique black pottery workshop in Nixi and Songzangling Lamasery, Khampa Tibetan village Ringha and sip butter tea in a Tibetan farming family.

Day 12 Zhongdian/Kunming (B/L)
Fly to Kunming this morning and visit the Western Hills and Huating Temple. Walk through the bird & Flowers Market in old part of town.

Transfer to the airport for onwards flight.
