Day 1: Calgary
Arrive in Calgary, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner at one of the best steakhouse in town.
Day 2: Calgary to Jasper
Traveling north along the Thompson River Valley to Clearwater before stopping at Blue River for lunch.
After lunch continuing on with glimpses of towering Mount Robson past glacier covered peaks and sparkling river valleys to Jasper National Park and Jasper. (L)
Day 3: Jasper Touring
Ride on the longest aerial tramway in Canada and travel through UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jasper National Park
Enjoy the alpine tundra and wide array of wildlife.
Take your visit to Jasper National park to new heights with this ride aboard the area’s famous Jasper SkyTram. Soar above the park’s alpine tundra, watching for the park’s famous wildlife down below, as you gently climb towards the Upper Station located 7,472 feet (2,277m) above sea level. This family-friendly ride on the Jasper tramway is the perfect experience for guests of all ages.
Day 5: Jasper – Lake Louise via the Columbia Icefield
Traveling south on the Icefields Parkway to visit the Columbia Icefield with lunch included. After lunch board a specially designed Ice Explorer coach for a guided tour on the Athabasca Glacier. Next stop at the Glacier Skywalk a 400 metre interpretive boardwalk and a glass floored observation platform extending 30 metres out over the Sunwapta Valley.
From the Skywalk your coach travels to your Lake Louise hotel. (L)
Day 6: Lake Louise – Banff
Your morning free to explore Lake Louise and after lunch to Moraine Lake, nestled in the Valley of the Ten peaks, crossing the Great Divide into Yoho National Park via the scenic Kicking Horse Pass to learn the history of the Spiral Tunnels. Takakkaw Falls, in the magnificent Yoho Valley, will be the final stop before travelling to your Banff hotel.
Day 7: Banff Touring
Today begins with a gondola ride (included) to the peak of Sulphur Mountain. Next a visit to Bow Falls before ascending Tunnel Mountain Drive to Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos continuing on for an hour long cruise on Lake Minnewanka before returning to Banff via the Minnewanka Loop with a stop at Two Jack Lake.
Later to Canmore to take a helicopter ride (Optional) over the world famous Three Sisters, Spray Valley and Lakes, the Goat Range returning along the pristine Bow River.
Day 8: Banff– Calgary
Transfer to Calgary where your tour ends at the airport
